The last day till winter break

Today was a chill day,nobody was in class but a handful of students.We started off playing a game ,but then there were a few of us talking about childhood shows and which were our favorite.

I finally presented

I finally presented today. My topic was global warming, I was pretty nervous and I think I forgot some of my information.Overall I think I did great and I have high hopes. This project was more difficult then the last,though I liked it and I would be willing to do another project like this .

I didnt get a chance to present today so I will be presenting tomorrow. I actually enjoyed some presentations from today.

Projects

They started presenting today and I found out that me and someone else has the same topic as me.So I have my work cut out for me tomorrow. We go to 4th block second let's see how this goes 

Dauphin Island Sea lab

I wasn't in class today ,shocker I know.But today we went to the sea lab on Dauphin Island .I had lots of fun, we dissected a squid,froze our butts off outside,and ate good.

What did we do today?

I don't really remember much of what we did in class today which is pretty weird.I do remember having the worst headache.I also remember writing a paragraph explaining why we picked our topic for our projects.I believe we just talked about our projects and how to find information for them. Things like which websites not to use. I am positive that that's all we did, hopefully I'll remember tomorrow. Speaking of tomorrow, we have a field trip to the sea lab and I'm really excited. 

The best news I've heard in a while.

For our 4th block EQT we dont have to take a test instead we are doing a project. This project will be hard mainly because we get to choose our own topic.The problem with that is that there are so many options.

Superman

Today we read a essay about a Native American boy ,who taught him self to read. In my opinion it was my favorite we've read so far.We had a discussion on why it's good to know how to read which went pretty smoothly.

Which Answer is the right answer

We are now working on multiple choice questions , which is something we learned that everyone needed help on.We started off taking a quick quiz ,which everyone failed. To be fair it was a little challenging ,but after reviewing in groups it helped to see the thought process behind everyone's answer.

Back at it again with another prompt

Again with the prompts and the essays. Although I know they will help in the future with the AP exam,and other essays we have but they are getting kind of repetitive.Other than that today went pretty well ,and I did learn alot.

Back and Better

   Today I thought I had heard the worst news possible,we had to write a poem. This time it was easier for me even though we only had a few hour to create, type, and send this poem. They will be entered into a contest, which I am nervous ,yet really excited for

We Won(Kind of)

Today I was not in class because I was on a JROTC field trip to a drill competition. At first I was really anxious and ready to get it over with, but in the end it was worth it.Both of our drill teams placed team 3 had recieved 3rd place  while team 1(the team I was on) got 2nd place. I was ecstatic and shocked when they called our teams.

Fairytales

  Today Mr.Rease wasn't at school. Instead we had a subsitute ,who then proceeded to take us to Ms.Well's class.In there we talked about Fairtaes like Cinderella, and The Three Little Pigs. It was pretty fun listening to our classmates telling us the story.

Welcome Back

It's been a while since my last blog.Today was our first day back from Thanksgiving break.We continued working on writing essays.We talked about the thing's necessary for making a monument. Turns out they just made a Rosa Park monument in Montgomery, Al.
